Chili con Carne 

 

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp oil

  • 1 minced onion

  • 1 crushed garlic clove

  • 800 g ground beef

  • 1 tsp salt

  • No 303 ( 450 g) tomato can

  • 1 tsp chili powder

  • 150 g beef bouillon

  • N° 303 (450 g) Red kidney beans can ( drained and washed)

  • Black pepper to taste


Directions:

Fry in  hot oil the onion and garlic until golden color. Add beef and chili , fry well until beef has a golden color, turning constantly.

Add tomatoes, bouillon and pepper, bring to  boil, lower heat , cover and let simmer for 30 minutes. Before 5 minutes from cooking time , add the kidney beans, serve immediately .

 

 This dish may be served over white rice, although its starchy texture.
