Which is Easier? Cooking, or tasting!
Many times people ask for recipes with fear or "lack of knowledge"
that these are hard recipes to prepare, in fact from some culinary point of
view recipes that are hard to prepare are the ones that require some special
cooking methods or which calls for sensitive items and raw materials. But
another point of view ( and is mine) shows that no hard recipe exists , this
fact is because cooking is innovative, means whatever you prepared while you
are cooking , is called a dish ( of course respecting logical cooking methods)
so preparing a certain dish isn't that hard as knowing how to taste it, aren't
we all good cooks in some way? Can’t you fry some French fries? Or prepare a
green salad...? But we aren't all good connoisseur, can anyone tell how an
escalope Viennese style should taste? i bet you can’t. This leads us to say:
not anyone who cooks is a chef, the thing that you should consider next time
before cooking is : will the people i am cooking for, know how to taste this
dish , are they "connoisseur" when it comes to this certain dish?
this is how people will appreciate your cooking as a housewife , or as any
cook, you have to look for what they know and if they know how to savor it (
gouter is the French word)So as a conclusion which you may believe or not
Cooking is so easy when you don't know how to savor what you'recooking.
